The Idea behind my book came from a friend back in high school who was sexually assaulted at a party. I didn't go, but some of my friends did. I was there for the fallout. Although I wasn't there for the ending and didn't know if the guy got charged, I did help her through the initial process. I always wondered what would happen if I knew. So I took it upon myself to create a fictional story about a girl who emerges strong and overcomes a particularly challenging situation in her life.
